Samantha – The Samantha Room

Samantha (Kai Tahu) is an Ōtautahi based artist who designs digital prints and stickers under the name The Samantha Room. She also creates beautiful watercolour cards. Over the past few years Samantha has dove deeper into her identity as māori and takatāpui creating many political pieces and has gained confidence in expressing herself through her art. She attends many local markets selling her work. Outside of her small business you can find Samantha creating art at her favourite community studios - Ōtautahi Creative Spaces.
