Sharyn Hunt –  Sharyn Ley Art

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Sharyn Hunt is an architectural illustrator whose detailed pen and ink and watercolour artworks celebrate the character and history of Aotearoa's built heritage. With a lifelong passion for drawing and a love of historic architecture, Sharyn's work captures the intricate beauty of heritage buildings while preserving the memory of many iconic Christchurch landmarks lost in the Canterbury earthquakes.
Commissioned to create illustrations for the Christchurch Cathedral in 2007, Sharyn has since illustrated more than 40 of Christchurch's historic buildings. She is currently expanding her collection with prominent buildings in Rangiora and is looking forward to documenting the much-loved landmarks of Queenstown and Arrowtown.
Sharyn offers a beautiful range of professionally presented prints, greeting cards and magnets, making thoughtful gifts and lightweight keepsakes that are perfect for locals and visitors alike.
When she's not at her drawing desk, Sharyn works part-time, enjoys spending time with her family, walking the family dog, cooking, and practising yoga.
