Monique Tichborne – Art by Monique

Monique creates mixed media works using old and used New Zealand stamps on MDF board. Each NZ map is uniquely made, with no two the same. People love recognising stamps from specific locations, animals, birds, or simply enjoying the nostalgia of older stamps. Monique also designs patterned koru and coin artworks for something a bit different—a truly unique New Zealand gift.
All NZ stamp work can be custom-made.
Monique is a self-taught artist who also creates original pencil drawings. She draws from photos and is open to commissions, with a particular love for portrait work—both people and pets. She draws upside down, which is why there's a backwards ‘R’ in her logo.
