Mark smith – Lyford Rustic

Mark has always had a passion for timber. He enjoys finding old native woods that haven’t had a former life, as well as sourcing timber from his family’s section at Mt Lyford. His stunning pieces are often experimental, as he enjoys learning new techniques. From small tables to chunky coat hooks, Lyford Rustic offers unique gifting ideas.
Mark began his woodworking journey in the UK, fitting out his shop, which led to a business making garden saunas. With Lyford Rustic, he now focuses on creating interesting homewares.
Like many woodworkers, workshop space is often an issue! He’s currently working with some beautiful Totara, crafting a mobile kitchen island. When not making sawdust, Mark also works on another venture – Yorkshire Yeti Men’s Grooming, a product line he continues to grow.
