Based in the foothills of North Canterbury in New Zealand’s South Island, Jennifer creates beautifully soft handcrafted scarves using the traditional Nuno felting technique. Combining fine New Zealand Merino wool fibres with luxurious Mulberry silk, each scarf is carefully felted onto delicate silk chiffon to create lightweight, warm, and richly textured pieces with a subtle natural lustre.
Inspired by colour, texture, and the tactile process of working with wool, Jennifer enjoys creating scarves that are both practical and unique. Every piece is individually handmade, with softly organic edges and natural variations that ensure no two scarves are ever exactly the same. Customers can also request custom colour combinations, with scarves made to order in favourite shades for both men and women.
Jennifer’s love of creativity began early, inspired by watching and helping her mother with sewing, cross-stitch, patchwork, and other crafts. After many years focused on family and work, retirement has given her the opportunity to return to creative pursuits and continue developing new scarf styles, colour palettes, and techniques. Her scarves are breathable, insulating, and made from natural fibres, making them ideal to wear throughout the year or to give as thoughtful gifts for friends and family both in New Zealand and overseas.
