Sally-Mae Hudson is a self-taught stamp maker and linocut printmaker. Sally uses various techniques to get multi coloured prints, such as reduction prints, jigsaw prints and multi-block prints. These are all hand-carved and hand-printed onto paper or fabric. She also make custom stamps for small companies. Sally's love of the mountains, plants and animals, particularly New Zealand’s native flora and fauna are a huge influence on her artwork and she takes a lot of her own personal experiences with the outdoors and turns them into linocuts.
